Professor
Nelson Lund presented at University of Virginia
School of Law on February 27, 2012, at an event sponsored
by the Federalist Society and the Virginia Law Rod &
Gun Club. Professor Lund is the Patrick
Henry Professor of Constitutional Law and the Second
Amendment at George Mason University School of Law. His
Ph.D. in Political Science is from Harvard. His J.D.
is from University of Chicago, where he was executive
editor of University of Chicago Law Review. He
clerked for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and later served
in the White House as associate counsel to President
George H. W. Bush (1989-1992). Professor Lund has written
widely in the field of constitutional law. He has
authored many amicus briefs in 2nd Amendment
cases, and he has published numerous law review articles
related to the 2nd Amendment. |
