Book presentation of 1st-ever Law School Text on the 2nd Amendment

Professor Johnson Professor Kopel Professor O'Shea Professor Mocsary

Lunch-time presentation by all four authors of FIREARMS LAW AND THE SECOND AMENDMENT: REGULATION, RIGHTS, AND POLICY (Aspen Publishers). The book is the first-ever law school textbook on the 2nd Amendment. Lead author is Professor Nicholas Johnson. Co-authors are Professor David Kopel, Professor Michael O’Shea., and Professor George Mocsary. Briefly, Nicholas Johnson is a law professor at Fordham; his law degree is from Harvard. David Kopel is Research Director at the Independence Institute and adjunct professor at Sturm College of Law at Denver University; his law degree is from University of Michigan. Michael O’Shea is a law professor at Oklahoma City University; his law degree is from Harvard. George Mocsary is a visiting assistant professor at University of Connecticut; his law degree is from Fordham.  Seminar students were given four chapters of the forthcoming textbook:
