Robert CottrolProfessor Robert Cottrol is the Harold Paul Green Research Professor of Law at George Washington University. His Ph.D. in American Studies is from Yale; his law degree is from Georgetown University Law Center. He is the author of BROWN v. BOARD OF EDUCATION: CASTE, CULTURE, AND THE CONSTITUTION (2003) and GUN CONTROL AND THE CONSTITUTION: SOURCES AND EXPLORATIONS ON THE SECOND AMENDMENT (1994). Professor Cottrol’s topic at the Scholars Seminar was “Revitalization of the Militia.”
