Rhine River, Speyer, Germany (2011)

| "Speyer" used
to be spelled "Speier." My distant KEIM ancestor left Speyer and moved to Pennsylvania in the
very early 1700s. His daughter (Elizabeth Keim, b. before
1723) married the son of my HOFFART ancestor who had left

| From Speyer and the Rhine River, I drove to Saarbrücken and took a fast train to Paris, where I went up the Eiffel Tower. |
