| "Speyer" used to be spelled
"Speier." My distant KEIM ancestor left Speyer
and moved to Pennsylvania in the very early 1700s. His
daughter (Elizabeth Keim, b. before 1723) married the son

| From Speyer and the Rhine River, I drove to Saarbrücken and took a fast train to Paris, where I went up the Eiffel Tower. |
