A look at brides from the MHS Class of '68

Some of the brides were as young as 18. One or two may have been as old as 30. The images are screenshots from old newspapers now online; they are like shadows from the distant past. Some of the marriages still survive in 2026. Some ended long ago with death or divorce. Some of these long-ago brides have died; all of the long-ago brides got old. Most of the weddings that came along with these dresses were in churches, and often the receptions were in church halls.
