Examples of what all first-year law students write

At all law schools, first-year law students will have a legal-writing course. Different law schools use different names for the course, but it's the course in which students will write phony legal memos and phony appellate briefs.

Here are samples of what a first-year law student would be writing:

Appellate brief: Admit the confession into evidence.
Argument for defendant: Suppress the confession.
Defamation on the internet
Trademark Dilution Act
Burglary when person did not enter
